Experience

Each day we make new alliances and strengthen old ones. It's how we achieve success and accomplish our goals. Alliances are about teamwork and relationships. A successful construction project requires strong teamwork, attention to detail and accountability. We here at Allied Construction, Inc. take all of these ideals seriously, providing our customers the peace of mind that comes with forming strong alliances.

Allied Construction, Inc. has grown and evolved over the years. We have seen our focus shift with that of our clients. Be it the fast track construction of 190,000 square feet of retail space, a 21 screen movie theater complex or a freestanding CVS Pharmacy, we have proven that we can be counted on to manage larger, more complex projects. And we do it while still maintaining the same quality workmanship and attention to detail a smaller renovation project receives.

Because we are serious about what we do and our commitment to our customers, many of you are old friends with whom we have done numerous projects over the years. For some of you, the alliance is yet to be developed. We look forward to showing you how Allied Construction, Inc. can make your next building project a reality.

As we continue to grow and develop new alliances, some things will never change: quality workmanship, attention to detail, being responsive to the needs and concerns of our customers. On that, you have our word.

Our New Home

Sometimes it takes a powerful motivator to overcome inertia. Who would have guessed when we moved into our Jefferson Street location that it would become so cramped and inefficient?

Relegating a lone member of our staff to operate from upstairs, isolated from everyone else, quickly confirmed that we were long overdue for a change. The warehouse, having been converted from a garage used to store heavy equipment, was equally insufficient for a growing company. Lastly, there was the pothole-infested gravel driveway leading to the building. It left much to be desired in the way of conveying a positive first impression to a prospective client. Yes, after thirteen years in the same location, we were ready to move on.

After contemplating several sites, we settled on a location for our new base of operations: 111 Utopia Road, Manchester, CT. Many Allied Construction, Inc. employees shared their ideas with Jim Simmons, our in-house designer and planner who completed the space layout and building design. Our new facility affords everyone involved a workspace suited to his or her needs. Moving day came in July of 1999, when everyone's hard work came to fruition and Allied Construction, Inc. relocated to our new facility.

The 10,000 square foot building solves the problems inherent in the former location. Providing double the office and warehouse space, it now feels open, organized and much more efficient. Our fully fenced-in yard insures that materials and equipment stored outside are safe and secure. And, this location still affords us the quick, easy access to the highway we previously enjoyed.

Lastly, it is a workplace we are proud to present to any prospective client; a showcase for both the design/build services and attention to detail that Allied Construction, Inc. employees perform on every project. So... why does anyone wait so long to overcome inertia?
